Battle in Seattle-content/panel review

About

I went to school for Film/Video which makes me just as unqualified as the next person to do movie reviews. I like what I like! I love classic films. My favorite movies are All About Eve, Dial M For Murder and How to Marry a Millionaire.  I am nostalgic for the Old Hollywood glamour. I get annoyed by movies when I think the filmmaker is inlove with their own work and I don’t like movies attempting high art.

I like fluffy, happy, escapism films…not to say I don’t enjoy other types. I’m just saying you won’t have me claiming that my favorite directors are Kubrick and Kurosawa or any of the other famous filmmakers/movies that film students use to give the appearance that they know something…not slamming you if those actually ARE your favorite directors. I am okay with saying that sometimes I like bad, albeit entertaining movies.

With that said, please be somewhat critical as an audience member. Don’t let Hollywood make you an idiot. American Pie and the sequels are crap. If this is your favorite movie then you’re probably a douche bag.
